OEP PRESCHOOL CALENDAR

 

PARENT ORIENTATION

**Due to the Pandemic, it is likely that Parent Orientation and the First week of school will look different than schedule below.**

*** Wednesday, September 9^th at 7:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall (No children please)

 

 

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Parents remain with their child on the first day only. Babysitting will be provided for siblings in the Church Nursery free of charge on the first day. You must sign up for babysitting at or before Parent Orientation so we can plan accordingly. 

A minimum of 5 children must be signed up in order to have the babysitting.

TWO YEAR OLD CLASS

*Tuesday, September 15^th from 9:00-10:30 a.m. (Half the class, with parent)

*Thursday, September 17^th from 9:00-10:30 a.m. (The other half of the class, with parent)

*The teacher will notify parents as to which day they are scheduled to bring their child.

**The next two classes (the second week of school) will be held from 9:00-11:15 without parents, then the following week we will go to the regular schedule of 9:00-12 noon.

 

 

2 DAY THREE YEAR OLD CLASS

*Tuesday, September 15^th from 9:00-10:30 a.m., (Half the class, with parent)
*Thursday, September 17^th from 9:00-10:30 a.m., (The other half of the class, with parent)
*Tuesday, September 22^nd, 9 to 12 noon, the whole class without parent.

 

 

3 DAY THREE YEAR OLD CLASSES and 3 DAY PRE-K

*Monday, September 14^th from 9:00-10:30 a.m., (entire class with parent)
*Wednesday the 16^th and Friday the 18^th- regular schedule begins, 9:00-12 Noon, without parent

 

 

5 DAY PRE-K CLASS

*Monday, September 14^th from 9:00-10:30 a.m., (entire class with parent)
*Tuesday through Friday, regular schedule from 9:00-12 Noon, without parent

 

 

SCHOOL CLOSING

November 3^rd  (Tuesday) – Election and Teacher In-service
November 26^th and 27^th (Thurs.-Fri.) - Thanksgiving Break, classes resume Mon. Nov. 30^th
December 23^rd (Wed.) – Jan. 1^st (Fri.) - Christmas Break, classes resume Monday, January 4^th 
January 18^th (Mon.) - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
February 15^th (Mon.) - President’s Day
March 18^th (Thurs.) – Area Nursery School Association Workshop
March 29^th – April 5^th (Mon. - Mon.) - Easter Break, Classes resume Tuesday, April 6^th

 

 

The last week of school is the week of May 24^th.
Pre-Kindergarten graduation will be held on Friday, May 28^th.

 

SCHOOL PICTURES will be taken on
THURSDAY + FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5^TH and 6^TH.
